2. Scope
This policy applies to taximaroc.app, the TaxiMaroc mobile app (ma.taximaroc.app), and related services (account, Grand Taxi / inter-city trips, bookings, parcels, messaging, identity and vehicle verification, wallet / credits).
3. Data we collect
Account data
Name, date of birth, email, phone, password (hashed), optional profile photo, language preferences.
Verification data (drivers)
When you apply to publish trips as a driver:
- Identity document type (national ID, passport, or driver license)
- Front/back photos of the document (back not required for passport)
- Selfie holding the document
- Data visible on those documents (e.g. ID number, dates)
- Vehicle: make, model, plate, year, vehicle photo, registration document (carte grise)

Usage data
Trips, bookings, in-app messages, push notifications (if enabled), optional driver home city/location.
Technical data
Device/session identifiers, IP address, logs, connection timestamps.
Wallet, credits and in-app purchases
TaxiMaroc may offer a credit wallet used inside the app (for example service credits for certain features).
- Top-ups are processed through the app stores: Google Play Billing (Android) and/or App Store In-App Purchases (iOS).
- TaxiMaroc does not collect or store your bank card numbers. The store (Google or Apple) processes the purchase.
- We may process: store transaction / purchase identifiers, pack and amount, status (succeeded, pending, refunded), credit balance and wallet usage history.
- Money arrangements between users for a trip or parcel (e.g. cash) are not processed as TaxiMaroc card payments.
4. Purposes
Account management, connecting drivers and passengers (including Grand Taxi routes and parcels), manual identity/vehicle verification, wallet credit management and in-app purchase validation, security and moderation, support, service improvement (aggregated analytics), legal compliance.
5. Legal bases
Contract performance, your explicit consent (especially for verification, notifications, location when offered), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention), and legal obligations under Law 09-08.
6. Recipients
IMRANE OU EL FAQUIR, sole operator of TaxiMaroc; Contabo GmbH (Germany, EU) as technical hosting sub-processor for databases and files only. We do not sell your personal data.
7. International transfer
Data is hosted in the EU (Germany) via Contabo. This international transfer is handled under Law 09-08.
All personal data processing by TaxiMaroc, including this transfer, is subject to a prior authorization request filed with the CNDP (currently under review). The authorization number will be published on this page and in the Legal notice once received.
8. Retention (indicative)

9. Security
- HTTPS/TLS for data in transit
- Hashed passwords
- Verification documents are not publicly accessible on the internet (review limited to IMRANE OU EL FAQUIR via secure access)
- Encryption at rest for sensitive files on our servers, where applicable
- Profile photos and vehicle exterior photos may be visible to other users on trip listings (not identity documents or carte grise)
- Secure hosting on a private server in the European Union
- Backups and access logging
10. Your rights
Access, rectification, opposition, deletion, and withdrawal of consent (where applicable). Contact: imrane.ouelfaquir@gmail.com. You may complain to the CNDP: cndp.ma.
11. Minors
TaxiMaroc is for users 18 and over only.
12. Breaches
We will notify the CNDP and affected users when required by law.
13. Changes
The last updated date is shown at the top. Material changes will be communicated appropriately.
